Ten people from Soso village, Naviti Yasawa have been arrested for allegedly assaulting the owners of a resort on Naukacuvu Island
The 10 have been charged with various counts ranging from assault, damaging property, criminal trespass and causing nuisance.
16 people were sacked earlier this week by the resort which the workers were not happy with and this led to a confrontation following which police had to be called in.
These workers were terminated as they were inconsistent with their work.
200 workers are currently involved in construction at the resort which will be opening soon.
All accused are expected to appear in court later today.
