Alleged killer driver charged
Police have charged a 26 year old woman driver for dangerous driving which led to a horror car crash Saturday morning in which a woman from Brisbane Australia lost her life.
The woman was charged with dangerous driving occasioning death, dangerous driving causing grievous bodily harm, dangerous driving and failure to undergo breath analysis.
She is expected to appear in the Nasinu Magistrates Court today.
The 39 year old Brisbane woman’s vehicle collided with the car driven by the accused at Ratu Dovi Road junction, Laucala Beach.
The deceased was driving towards Nadera while the accused was driving down Nokonoko Road.
Three remain admitted at the CWM Hospital.
Meanwhile the road death toll currently stands at 14 compared to 15 for the same period last year.
