One of the selectors of the Fiji 7s team, Sailosi Naiteqe senior has stepped down from his position saying that he is disappointed in the manner the Moscow Rugby World Cup training squad was selected.
According to Naiteqe said all the selectors were supposed to decide on the names however head coach, Alifereti Dere changed some names last Friday.

France based Burotu is a notable exclusion from the squad.
Burotu gave an outstanding performance in the Marist 7s tournament and he also featured prominently for first time tournament winners Westfield Barbarians.
He was also named the player of the tournament.
Another classy player missing from the squad is Joeli Lutumailagi.
