International sugar meet in Nadi tomorrow
Over 100 delegates will attend the 43rd International Sugar Organization Council meeting which starts in Nadi tomorrow.
Council chair and Fiji’s Prime Minister, Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama will open the meeting in which the delegates will deliberate on ways to strengthen the global sugar industry.
Stakeholders from the sugar sector including officials from the Sugar Ministry, Fiji Sugar Corporation as well as the Sugar Cane Growers Council are expected to make their presentation.
The ISC has 86 member countries.
