Jese on the road to recovery

IIimotama Jese

Ilimotama Jese was ruled out of football for three months by doctors following a road accident two weeks ago.

It looked like a bitter blow to Nadi’s 2013 Vodafone Fiji FACT campaign, however, good news filtered through the jet-setters camp yesterday.

“We tried Fijian herbal medicine and massage and the player has responded well to the treatment,” Nadi FA president Navneeda Goundar revealed yesterday.

“He (Jese) is feeling a lot better and could even start training sometime this week.”

Defender Jese is a key player alongside Beniamino Matainaqara, Napolioni Qasevakatini, Rusiate Matarerega, Uraia Loki, Jone Salauneune, Lekima Gonerau and Eliki Ravosai.

Nadi is pooled with Navua, Rewa and Lautoka and plays Rewa on the opening day of the FACT on June 15 at the ANZ Stadium in Suva.
