The Health Ministry will have to inquire further into a claim by Nadi-based medical practitioner Dr Ram Raju that quantum pendants have no medical value.
Ministry spokesman Shalvin Deo said they had to verify who was supplying the products.
“We will also consult our chief pharmacist on the matter.”
Dr Raju issued a public notice last week cautioning the public against purchasing medically-unproven products.
He said consumers should be wary of products that were being sold as “cure all” without verifying if they were medically proven.
