Sprint king wins 100m final

Champion sprinter Banuve Tabakaucoro clocked 10.65secs in the 100m final today to clinch his second gold in the Oceania Athletics Championship in Tahiti.

Tabakaucoro had smashed the 200m record of the Oceania Championships with a new time of 21.08 secs yesterday.

The Fiji team finished with 3 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze.
