Talk to your children about HIV/AIDS: President

Fiji’s President and advocate for HIV/AIDS, Ratu Epeli Nailatikau has urged parents to speak to their children about the seriousness of the disease.

62 new cases of HIV/AIDS were recorded in 2012 bringing the total number to 482 registered cases in Fiji.

70 percent of these cases are from the central and eastern division – between Suva and Nausori and the provinces of Rewa and Tailevu.

124 patients are currently under anti retro viral treatment.
