Additional 380 soldiers to leave for Golan this month

An additional 380 soldiers will depart for the troubled Israeli-Syria border Golan Heights this month.

They will join the 182 member contingent which departed for Golan last month.

This was confirmed by Fiji’s Prime Minister, Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama at a dinner function in the Solomon Islands last night.

Commodore Bainimarama also revealed that the Russian Government will provide assistance to the Fiji peacekeepers, however it is not known yet what sort of assistance the Russian government will provide.
