AFL yet to respond on Nausori Airport expansion plans

Airports Fiji Limited is yet to respond on the expansion of the Nausori Airport.

This was confirmed by the i-Taukei Land Trust Board. The Board has sent the offer letter to the Director of Lands after putting together a package that will benefit the landowners, the government and AFL.

The Board said that landowners’ grievances such as the lease, employment and other compensation are their main priorities.

The acquisition of the 93 acres of land for the redevelopment of Nausori Airport will cost $60 million.
