Brisbane woman dies in late night car crash in Fiji
A woman from Brisbane Australia died late last night when her vehicle collided with another car at Ratu Dovi Road junction, Laucala Beach.
The 39 year old was driving towards Nadera when her vehicle was allegedly hit by a vehicle driven by a 26 year old woman coming from Nokonoko Road.
The woman plus four teenagers who were passengers in her vehicle were taken to the CWMH where the woman was pronounced dead on arrival. The rest are admitted under observation at the accident and emergency ward.
The 26 year old driver of the other vehicle is now in custody at the Valelevu Police Station.
Meanwhile the road death toll currently stands at 14 compared to 15 for the same period last year.
