Buyer needed for 60,000 tonnes of sugar
Fiji is searching for a buyer for the remaining 60,000 tonnes of sugar.
According to the FSC, four companies have shown interest but nothing has been determined yet as they haven’t received a good price.
The FSC produced 150,000 tonnes of sugar last season, of which 90,000 was shipped to UK buyers Tate and Lyle Sugar Limited.
