Chaudhry’s Stay Application Dismissed

Justice Paul Madigan has dismissed Fiji Labour Party leader, Mahendra Chaudhry’s application for a stay on proceedings in relation to his case in which he is charged with breach of the Exchange Control Act, on the grounds that there was nothing new in his application.

Chaudhry had made an application for stay claiming that there was abuse of process.
