Ex Mine workers to get redundancy payments
Hundreds of Emperor Gold Mine workers who were made redundant in 2006, will receive their pending redundancy payments, after the Fiji Court of Appeal ruled out the appeal against an earlier decision of the High Court, upholding the awards of the Emperor Tribunal.
It is understood that some have passed away and some have moved abroad. Their families who are the beneficiaries will receive the money.
