Fiji has a big advantage: Bollywood director

‘Everyone is looking for a new unique story.’

Bollywood film director Anubhav Sinha who has made films Dus and Ra One, made the comment while speaking on the topic ‘From Bollywood to Bulawood’, during a session at the Fiji Institute of Accountants Congress.

Sinha said:” Fiji has a big advantage in being a destination for film making as it is close to countries such as Australia and the United States and it has links to India culturally.”

He added that he believes if Fiji is to enter into film production for the international market then the country needs to focus on unique Fijian stories that is internationally accepted.
