Infant deaths, police concerned

The Fiji police force is concerned about rise in infant deaths in Fiji.

Three infant deaths have been recorded in the western division in May alone.

A 2-month-old girl from Moala village, Nadi died in her sleep after suffering from a fever.

A 3-year-old girl from Lautoka died in her sleep while a  4-year-old girl also passed away under similar circumstances. An 11-year-old girl has also died after suffering stomach pains.
