Labasa FA’s statement angers Fiji FA

The Fiji Football Association will take action against a Labasa soccer official who today released a statement in which he slammed Fiji FA’s decision of not allowing five Labasa players to feature in the Fiji Fact.

Labasa soccer’s assistant secretary, Nilesh Lal today issued a strong worded press statement saying Fiji FA’s decision is unethical, grossly unfair and in direct defiance of FIFA regulations.

However, Fiji FA President, Rajesh Patel said Lal is the one creating problems for Labasa soccer.

Labasa soccer is currently having a meeting to decide their next course of action.
