More Fiji medical personnels eyed for Golan

There would be an increase in the number of health officials deployed to Golan Heights next year if a surgical ward is established at the UN hospital.
RFMF Land Force Commander, Colonel Mosese Tikoitoga says the current health practitioners currently on tour of duty at the Golan Heights will only tend to small injuries and sick soldiers as well the general public.
Eleven health officials which consist of two doctors and nine nurses will soon start work at the UN hospital in Syria after Austrian soldiers withdraw from the mission.
Tikoitoga says there are plans to build a surgical theatre at the UN Hospital which will see some surgical staff from the Health Ministry being part of the deployment next year.
