Nabukelevu gets own boat

The district of Nabukelevu in Kadavu purchased a boat to service the lower southern parts of Kadavu.

The MV Uluinabukelevu is focusing on providing the affordable trips for the people of Nabukelevu-ira.

Before the villagers were paying $55 for their fares from Suva to Vunisea jetty and an additional $200 from Vunisea to their villages on the lower part of the Islan.

Now the people of Nabukelevu only have to pay $55 and they are dropped off at their villages.
