Navua soccer offficial under police investigation for alleged assault

A Navua FA official is now under police investigation for allegedly assaulting Jolly Brothers official Norman Philips at the association meeting on Wednesday night.

Philips claimed that the executive was under the influence of liquor.

Philips  had earlier asked the president of Navua FA Faud Ali to have the official removed from the forum. The allegedly drunk official was removed from the meeting by Ali after being pressured by the delegates.
