Old Rakiraki bridge to close

The Rakiraki bridge near Rakiraki village will close to all traffic from tomorrow to allow for the construction of a new bridge which will take around 9 -12 months to complete.

Fiji Roads Authority confirmed that the old bridge will be demolished.

All traffic will now go through the Kings road which is a detour from the Rakiraki village heading into Penang mill access road to Rakiraki town.
