Over 20,000 Fiji drivers caught speeding
Police have confirmed that 21,760 drivers were booked for speeding this year.
1,188 bookings were for careless driving while 1037 drivers were booked for not wearing their seat belts. 994 booking were for carrying excess passengers.
In other statistics, 597 reported accidents have been registered so far this year with 13 fatal accidents recorded.
