Rain, strong winds, damaging swells until Sunday
More rain and thunderstorm are expected all over Fiji today.
A trough of low pressure with associated cloud and rain is approaching the group from the west. It is expected to affect most parts of Fiji till Sunday.
Isolated heavy falls is also expected.
A damaging heavy swell warning remains in force for all low lying coastal areas between Korovou to Nadi, southern Vanua Levu, Taveuni, Kadavu and nearby smaller Islands, Lomaiviti, Lau group, the Yasawas and the Mamanuca group.
A strong wind warning remains in force for all land areas of the Fiji group.
Meanwhile, an intense high pressure system to the far southwest of Fiji directs strong southeast winds over the group and heavy southerly swells over the Fiji waters.
