Smash Tonga today and the PNC title is ours
The Akapusi Qera captained Flying Fijians team need to defeat Tonga today to win the Pacific Nations Cup since both teams have an equal opportunity to claim the title.
They will face Tonga at 3:10pm FJ Time in Japan. Coach Inoke Male has made a few changes to the starting line up:
- Nikola Matawalu has replaced Timoci Nagusa at full back
- Saula Radidi has taken up Seremaia Bai’s spot to join Nemani Nadolo in midfield
- Nemani Kenatale joins Bai to replace Matawalu and Setareki Koroilagilagi at halves
- Vili Veikoso and Campese Ma’afu will join Setefano Somoca in the front row
- Apisalome Ratuniyarawa joins Wame Lewaravu at lock
- Api Naikatini joins Qera at the flanks
Canada is currently in the lead with 13 points but they have completed all their matches, Fiji is second with 11 points and Tonga is third with 10 points. Canada went down to Japan 13 – 16.
