Student’s explicit pictures under investigtion

Police have confirmed they are investigating a case where a student of a prominent school in Suva was alleged to have taken explicit photos of a student from another school during a drinking party.

Police spokeswoman Ana Naisoro said they had received the report late last month and were investigating.

“The report states the group of students attended a drinking party during school hours when the suspect allegedly used his mobile phone to take photos of two other students of a compromising nature,” Ms Naisoro said.

“While police are still to determine the nature of the photographs, a number of students have been questioned as investigations continue.”
