Tamani gets javelin gold

Levuka Public School athlete Pita Tamani has  won the intermediate boys’ javelin event at the Coca Cola Games.

He threw a distance of 58.03metres. Marist’s Timoci Matiavi took silver for 54.92m, while the bronze medal went to Petero Ligairi of Sila Central High who managed a distance of 54.58m.
