Vula cops 5 year soccer ban

Suva soccer rep, Samuela Vula has been banned from playing soccer for 5 years at all levels and also fined $5,000 for indiscipline during the 2013 Fiji FACT.

Vula was found guilty of breaking camp on June 22 and verbally abusing the management and executives of Suva FA, plus damaging property at the team’s base camp in Nadi.

Four others, Semi Rokoqica, Ravinesh Karan Singh, Leone Damudamu and Netava Ratubuli were also charged and they have been notified of their disciplinary terms, however the terms have not been disclosed yet.

Rokoqica is alleged to have consumed alcohol during the Suva and Rewa match while in Suva uniform, before deserting the team. Singh, Damudamu and Ratubuli are alleged to have broken camp and consumed alcohol.
