Work starts on Waila city complex
Initial work on the Waila city complex project has begun and the first phase of the multi million dollar project will start later this year, confirmed the Housing Authority today.
Malaysian company, Top Symphony Limited was hired to develop this project and the company is currently using digger trucks and earth moving machines to prepare the land at the site.
The Authority has also confirmed that work has begun on a four lane road through the Waila city area which will connect the entire city from Princes Road near Nausori to Adi Lady Davila Ganilau Road in Nakasi.
The city will cater for approximately 5,000 families.
